Income tax officials conducted searches on properties linked to a coal trader and industrialist, Ghanshyam Dalmia, in Sundargarh district, Rourkela. The searches are being conducted at several places in Sundargarh, Rourkela, and other locations in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh.
With the recovery of Rs 1 crore in cash on Friday, the total recovery of cash in income tax searches of the premises of two Dhanbad-based coal barons has gone up to Rs 4 crore.
