on social issues, it s a hit or miss. it s a miss. let s get a check of the weather with meteorologist bill karins. good morning to you. another busy travel day. it was a nightmare at atlanta hartford airport. thunderstorms for four straight hours. this is what it came down to. endless delays. today will be a catch-up day in southeast and, unfortunately, northeast. we ll be with scenes close to this. tornado watch has been trimmed a little bit. no longer including areas near tampa. a little sliver from orlando to volusia county. today couple additional storms from d.c., baltimore, maybe down to south carolina. the tornado warning 10 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. the rain will be moving into new england. this is snow back here in michigan. i mean, that s just cool around lansing.

make a broader statement? well, you know, he has been criticized for having a lack of foreign policy experience. you have to wonder about the objects of that thrown together essentially a press conference this morning. he was flanked by flags he was standing at a podium. you have to wonder if they were going after something that looks like a presidential press conference. he took questions and during that talked about the presidential foreign policy. as i have watched over the past three and a half years, the president has had some successes. he s had some failures. it s a hit or miss approach. but it has not been based upon sound foreign policy. while he certainly has not had the same kind of experience the president has he says he has a three point plan for turning things around politically around the world. shannon. thanks. we will have continuing coverage of the attacks through out the day in studio b. we will be right back.
