With two wins in Pennsylvania Sires Stakes wins under her belt but a sick scratch from her last race, the Captaintreacherous filly Beach Cowgirl rebounded off a 39-day absence to win her PASS division in 1:51.4 on Thursday (Aug. 25) at Harrah's Philadelphia.
Dismissed at 12-1, Hello Yes Hi used the "Lightning Lane" to outkick the 4-5 favourite, previously undefeated My Little Captain, and spring the upset in Saturday's (Aug. 13) $162,556 Pennsylvania Sires Stake (PASS) at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. Proud Mary captured the other division in the event, known as the Meadow Cheer, for freshmen pacing fillies.
Driver Tim Tetrick swept the two divisions of the $135,032 third preliminary for the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes (PASS) for three-year-old pacing fillies during the Sunday (June 26) card at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, taking both sections with daughters of Captaintreacherous.
Driver James MacDonald sent Tattoo Artist for the front and battled all challengers to take the $58,500 Free-For-All Pace on Saturday (June 4) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
