may not move the needle. it it doesn t change, what do dems do? that s the key question they re grappling with because at the moment public opinion is not broadly on the side of impeachment. that s the case house speaker pelosi has been making to her caucus. you have a third who have called for a formal impeachment inquiry. it s notable the last time there was a flurry of democrats who came out in favor of impeachment it was after robert mueller made that one and only public statement he s made thus far kind of reaffirming his findings of the report. these ten reports of obstruction of justice by the president under cameras under oath that could have some impact. but i do think that democrats are going to have to really look at whether they re going to make a decision that s based on the political climate or if they feel like this is their congressional responsibility to carry out oversight of the

mueller said yesterday. in some ways they re not intearily wrong that mueller didn t change what he said in his actual report. he just spelled it out more clearly, and also made it clear that on this basic question of did he want attorney general bill barr to make an obstruction determination about whether or not the president obstructed justice? mueller, i think, made it very clear that that s not what his intention was. he believed that the only remedy for this particular dilemma he faced was congress. that s what was laid out in the constulation. that may have been the one thing that kind of threw the white house for a loop. i think you saw the white house changing their language about whether or not mueller found no obstruction. they re not saying that anymore. they re saying bill barr found no obstruction. that s a good point. absolutely. it was in their statement yesterday. not too subtle. listen, in public opinion, if it s going to change, it changes over time. it doesn t ch
