The Lions – who have advanced to the 7-on-7 state tournament for 20 consecutive years dating back to 2000 – will venture to Graham as 7-on-7 football has resumed this year after the COVID-19 pandemic ended last year’s season before it ever started.
Saturday’s Graham qualifier is being split over two locations – Newton Field in Graham and Porcupine Stadium in Springtown. The Lions will compete in Pool B in Graham with games at 9:45 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. against Krum, Wichita Falls Hirschi and Dumas.
