Hudson Reporter Issyra Gallery presents ‘The Sea Bridge’ by Christina Fazio Fazio is a painter and licensed architect based in Hoboken. Her first solo show called The Sea Bridge will be on view at Issyra Gallery at 300 Observer Hwy. in Hoboken, presented by artist and curator Issa Sow. Fazio works in water-based oil paint on canvas at a scale that feels life-sized. “She paints imagined scenarios from the oceanic Anthropocene that hold the contradiction of industrial detritus acting on ocean life,” according to a press release from the gallery. “Fazio is developing a language of elements that create monsters from non-monstrous parts, a new kind of creature from that deep that is a hybrid between man-made and natural.”
