they seem confident in this bill we are defunding planned parenthood but putting them into other woman s issues std prevention prenatal screening, things of that nature. harry reid said democrats won t vote for this because this is an assault on women s health. planned parenthood is an organization that is very much aligned with democratic interests so it will be interesting to see how strong their lobbying is in the face of what will be pretty stiff opposition. all of that being said i think this story will be around on capitol hill in in capacity. there have been discussions in the house about doing something very similar, if they are able to get this bill through the senate through the cloture vote and break the filibuster it will see some movement in the house. we ll see if they get the democratic support to pull that off. luke russert on capitol hill thank you. after the break we ll zoom through some of the other top story including a day two of a heat wave affecting 32 millio
