Just to the south, moisture from Tropical Storm newton will push in and allow for cloudy skies within searchlight and possible showers to the laughlin area. Las vegas and north of the city will keep to sunny skies while temperatures begin to climb. Afternoon highs within the city will range between 97 and 102 degrees with mild winds out of the east southeast. By tomorrow, high temperatures will break into the triple digits for cer but just barely and hold there into sunday. City heat will range between 98 and 103 during this time but should not exceed 103 degrees.
