ISRO sun mission: The spacecraft will take about four months to reach its orbit and will carry seven payloads to observe the photosphere, chromosphere and the outermost layers of the Sun (the corona). The payloads have been developed indigenously by different labs across the country.

On April 22, 2023, at 14:19 IST, the PSLV-C55/TeLEOS-2 is scheduled to launch from SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota. TeLEOS-2, the principal satellite, and Lumelite-4, the co-passenger satellite, are both part of this specialized commercial mission through NSIL.The satellites each weigh around 16 kg and 741 kg. Both are Singaporean.
