KATHMANDU, Sept 1: After Justice Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada said that it would not be possible to conduct a hearing today, the hearing on a petition filed against the Chief Minister (CM) of Koshi Province has been postponed until further notice.
BIRATNAGAR, Aug 23: The leaders of CPN-UML have filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court (SC) against the Chief Minister (CM) of Koshi Province, Uddhav Thapa, on Wednesday, claiming that Thapa obtained the vote of confidence by violating the Constitution. The UML leaders from the Koshi Province Parliamentary Party, along with Hikmat Kumar Karki, approached the SC.
