Mother Nature has provided another challenge during these times filled with ups and downs. The outdoor seating area at Compton s Pancake House on Park Avenue in Stroudsburg was damaged. It s sad what happened, really. I don t even know what to say. I was shocked when I pulled in here for gas, and I saw it. It s crazy, said Joshua Hernandez, Stroudsburg. Susanne Ramos is the manager at Compton s. She says between trying to accommodate customers and stick to CDC guidelines, losing this outdoor space is just another hurdle to jump over.

Martin won by 41 minutes over the next finisher. Local Elizabeth Gerritt of Lewes was 15th in 4:22:44, while Jason Langley of Milford ran 4:27:50 to finish 18th. Recent Cape graduate Melanie McCloy of Lewes ran 4:28:22 to finish 19th. McCloy, 21, was once a part of a nationally ranked two-mile relay team at Beacon Middle School with teammates Logan Shuttleworth, Zoe Callard and Olivia Brozefsky.
