security around the airport right now isn t safe. they re telling americans still to stay away from the crowds that are outside the airport. they told them that before the explosions happened. that s still standing. what we do know is they are working on ways behind the scenes to get americans safely to the airport. but because of the security situation on the ground right now, they re not telling us a whole lot of details, but what we do know is that they re nearing the final phases of that right now. they re going to have to turn pretty soon from evacuation mode to complete withdrawal mode. anderson? i appreciate it. let s check in with our senior white house correspondent at the white house. what more is the biden administration saying? reporter: i was struck in listening to my colleagues, how they laid out the complexity and fluidity and scale of the current threat that u.s. officials are staring at right now. it gives you a sense of what the president and his national security
employee must submit to regular testing. now, from a legal standpoint, guys, this shouldn t be a hard call. we know that companies can mandate vaccines. most employers have to look out for two big exemptions. one, religious exemptions. one who says my religion doesn t allow he to get a vaccine or healthcare issue, it isn t safe for them. it s rare, those are the two big exemptions to look out for. beyond those two exemptions there is precedent for this. supreme court cases in fact. laura jarrett, thank you for this. sure. the lollapalooza music festival kicks off today at full capacity despite a sharp rise in cases in illinois and all across the country. adrienne broaddus is live in chicago following all this. bermen wants to know if this is going to be safe-a-palooza or not. that was my literal word. is it? reporter: you know what, i
returning to mandates. vaccine mandates, returning to mask mandates. they want to make sure they understand what the blow back of that may be. and the science has been a little slow, right? as the data collection is happening. so i don t know that they ve been as proactive as they necessarily would want to be. but i think you saw a big shift this week where they started moving a lot more quickly on this stuff than we had seen previously. can i also just say they had an issue communicating the science. that s been one of their biggest pitfalls comes to the cdc, following the science, this mask news changes that was not a surprise. we knew it was coming. but when the cdc comes out and explains we have new science with the delta variance. this is why even if you re vaccinated you need to wear a mask. they have yet to publish that data. they re not making this up out of thin air. but that s helpful for people asking why do i need to wear a
equity that s embedded throughout this bill. and then we will make the case very hard. and then members and i used to be one will have to make a hard decision whether you want to leave 10 million people with lead service lines going to their homes? do you want to leave 400,000 homes lead service lines going to children? we have to make sure that we re focussed on the issue and delivering results. i think that when we do that, we will navigate this. look, legislating is a messy, ugly process. it s the sausage-making process. most is not done out in the public to the extent it is, we know that that s the process and we ll keep working through it. at the end of the day, we expect and we want every democrat to vote for it, not because we re asking, but because the public is demanding one and, two, because this is historic investment not only in infrastructure but more importantly families across this country when we start talking about four years of free public education so that we can out
fat shaping. no one has been more fat shamed than bar clay. it s all in good fun. that s why we tune into tnt. we are laughing at ourselves. these guys are all-stars, not politicians. chris rock gets it. everybody gets safe. when everybody gets safe and nobody tries anything, things get boring. i see a lot of unfunny tv shows, unfunny award shows, unfunny movies. everybody is scared to make a move. jesse: it s the medians leading the jailbreak here. there is nothing funny about being offended. and the truth isn t safe it s just the truth. bill maher was one of the first
