remember the days back in the day you were part of that scene. are you feeling a similar vibe out there in the country? absolutely. it s why i love normal people because normal people have more brains than a whole room full of politicians and normal people are scared. they are genuinely scared about what joe biden is saying about the result of his collapsing policies, the collapse of our economy and people don t like it. they want something different. and you know you ve got a huge wave when it isn t just republicans. when it s independents, when it s a. political people and when it s democrats. everybody is dissatisfied. so you bet it s a wave. but it s what do they want? and this is where i think people on the right better wake up and better listen because people don t want what s been shoveled to them at this point. they don t want the united states economy to collapse. they don t want a new world order like joe biden just called for when he was in europe.
there are still americans there, i don t think that s going to go away. but also, how do we still focus on issues like this while there is congressional oversight, and the interesting thing here, don, and you know this, this isn t just republicans, frankly, you know, hip cr poe critically man them, but it s also democrats who are genuinely worried about why it was so chaotic and much more importantly going forward, whether or not afghanistan will quickly become another breeding ground for terrorists like it was 20 years ago. dana, i m glad to have you here tonight because we covered what was going to happen with this restrictive restrictive abortion law taking effect, the supreme court didn t step in and they didn t, you re in texas tonight. president biden is blasting this new law calling it extreme and saying it blatantly violates
established under roe v. wade. the hypocrisy of texas repub republicans in all of this, it is on full display as usual. remember, this is the state that says it my body, my choice on masks. body, my choice, on vaccines. it s my body, my choice. whatever happened to that, and the people who are going to get caught in the middle of this? you know who it s going to be? underserved communities, poor communities, communities of color, anybody who can t afford to get into a car and drive out of state or fly to go to a private doctor. and there s more gop hypocrisy front and center tonight, exhibit a, congressman madson cawthorn. he says that he s going to introduce a resolution to condemn political violence. you heard that right. a resolution to condemn political violence. now think about that, go with me here, okay? a resolution to condemn political violence, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, i ll get to that january 6th if you re
women s constitutional right to an abortion. what is this fight politically now for what does it mean for democrats, for republicans and president biden? listen, this is one of many abortion restricting laws that is passed are passing across the country in mostly republican-led legislatures, but nothing is like this. and i know you covered it last night for lots of reasons, first of all because it bans abortion at six weeks when most women don t know that they re pregnant. there are no outs for people who are pregnant because of rape, because of incest, health of the mother that even many people who are against abortion rights support, but what is going to be the real test here is the fact that they kind of inverted the way laws like this are conducted
most experienced and talented diplomats across the board. people like linda thomas greenfield, anne patterson, joe yuan. nearly every region of the world. and yovanovitch, still a foreign service officer and does exemplify that incredible courage and commitment and a point the republicans were making, she s still employed, the same amount of money. her career effectively over in terms of getting a foreign posting as an ambassador. i think she described the manner in which she was removed was something that was just a front to 33 years of incredibly dedicated selfless service. senator santorum, what do you make of the testimony and let s start with holmes. again, i feel like i m in an echo chamber here. every time i come on here, it s the worst day the president had. the end of the presidency and then that passes and then another thing comes along.
