Meet Courtney Waldfogel, a 20-year-old junior majoring in Biology, who balances three jobs and a full course load.
Waldfogel grew up in Hawaiʻi with a single mother who also balanced her own college courses while making ends meet. At a young age Waldfogel learned to value what she had. “My children will not have everything handed to them,” she said, recalling a valuable lesson she learned through the circumstances of her own childhood.
