farther away from that very populated city. one thing to note is the amount of people that felt this particular quake. when you look at the population, a half million people felt strong or severe shaking. 5 million people felt that moderate shaking, again, starting to see damage pictures and videos. one thing to note on damage, a lot of buildings are structurally compromised because of the initial quake. any subsequent aftershocks could contribute to additional damage. even if they don t appear damaged, they may have underlying damage. we have more expected not only today but in the coming days. this is not something that goes away right after. a big concern will be tropical storm grace. east of the leeward islands. the track takes it over the island of hispaniola, including
