The lights back on in Grand Centrals upper level overnight as police blocked access to the lower level which was still without lights after a rarity for the historic station. Lights are out. Atm, ticket machines. Everything out. A partial power outage as an off site pipe six inches in diameter flooded a transformer around 9 30 monday morning. Lower level train tracks restaurants bathrooms and shops all closed as a result. Ive never seen it except for the black out night in 2003. You see it on the map pit. The Texas Governor made the announcement a short time ago. Scalia was born in trenton, new jersey and moved to queens as a child. He went to Xavier High School in manhattan. Hes long been known as one of the most deserve Supreme Court justices. Scalia had retired for the evening yesterday and was found dead this morning when he did not show up for breakfast. The cause of his death is unknown. He was 79 years old. A woman steals a donation jar with hundreds of dollars inside, that money meant for a new jersey teen battling cancer and his family.
