Motorhome s erratic driving snarls traffic in Comox Valley

Reports varied from the vehicle was moving too fast, going the wrong way and crossing the centre line, as well as side-swiping another vehicle. “All of our available police officers in the area responded to the call due to the severity of the erratic driving,” said Const. Monika Terragni of the Comox Valley RCMP. “We are all very thankful nobody was hurt.” The 41-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested and remains in custody as police investigate. The Inland Island Highway was closed for a short period of time. Comox Valley RCMP are asking the public for dashcam footage of the motorhome in action. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP at 250-338-1321.
