RAMALLAH: A Palestinian was killed and another wounded Tuesday by Israeli army gunfire in the north of the occupied West Bank, a Palestinian security source told
AFP, as the death toll from recent violence hit 30.
Both were members of Palestinian intelligence services and were shot at an army checkpoint near Nablus, the source said without giving details.
The Israeli army earlier reported an attempted drive-by shooting at Tapuah Junction near Nablus. Two assailants were neutralised at the scene. No IDF injuries were reported, it said.
