[ applause ] , really. so, very happy. reporter: this is eye eileen frere for abc news. disturbing story. in other news this morning, federal aviation officials are looking into the crash of a small plane near lake tahoe that came down in an aircraft parking area and then burst into flames just after leaving the ground. the pilot was the only person on board. he was brought to a hospital in reno, nevada, with serious injuries. luckily, though, he escaped the plane before it caught fire. the united states should be in the clear as that six-ton satellite races closer to earth. the old research satellite is expected to crash down some time tomorrow afternoon. nasa says it will not pass over north america. but it s too early to tell precisely when and where it will hit. the satellite is expected to break up with some two dozen pieces reaching earth. they could be scattered over a 500-mile area. the nationwide listeria outbreak linked
neighbors tell us the woman was pregnant. the fire started at 6:29 south pulaski street in southwest baltimore. it is a middle home and a group of row homes and the fire it was so intense it really spread very quickly. in all 11 row homes were consumed in this fire. some homes were vacant, some were occupied. when firefighters got to the scene at around 10:00 this morning they found an intense situation, flames and a lot of smoke. it took about 90 firefighters and 25 engines to get this fire under control. a cadaver dog is looking through the home, searching for any other possible victim. we talked to neighbors who are still out here. they described the scene as very chaotic. two women who saw the smoke ran down the street and banged on doors. they did anything they could to get these people out. again the televictims trapped inside their home, a woman and her two boys, were not able to get out. they died. let s listen to one of the women who helped rescue people. it was ri
