The Gem and Mineral Show is back in Ishpeming for its 45th year.
The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club will be hosting the annual showcase on August 7th at the Elk Lodge. The show was cancelled last year due to COVID–19.
Club President Kirsten Maki said, “It began as just a simple rock swap. It slowly began to evolve into what is now the largest one-day gem and mineral show in the Midwest.”
This year, the event features an expanded kids area, complete with treasure and scavenger hunts.
Admission is free, with hourly door prizes.
