This achievement comes amidst a significant change in policy by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Starting this year, CISCE has decided to discontinue the practice of publishing merit lists for Class 10 and 12 exams. This decision aims to curb unhealthy competition among students, aligning with similar actions taken by the CBSE in the past year.
Several private and state-run schools have started taking measures to deal with stress-related issues among students during the ongoing exam season. CBSE class X and XII board exams have started and ISC exams are ongoing. Around 8 lakh candidates will appear in the HS exams starting on Friday.
