One driver had to be transported to the hospital just after 2 p.m. Thursday following a rear-end collision at the intersection of LaFayette Road and Lovers Lane, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.
The report states Isaiah Zachary, Hopkinsville, was stopped in traffic on LaFayette facing South as William Chaudoin, Herndon, was following behind and approaching Zacharyâs vehicle.
The report continued to state that as Chaudoin crested the top of the hill on LaFayette he observed Zachary stopped in traffic and attempted to stop, but was unable to in time and collided with the back of his vehicle.
A Hopkinsville man was injured in a wreck on Lafayette Road at the intersection of Lovers Lane Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Isaiah Zachary was southbound and stopped in traffic when a truck driven by William Chaudoin of Herndon crested a hill and struck his vehicle.
Zachary was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.
The crash happened just after 2 pm.
