The statement indicated that at about 4:30 pm on Wednesday, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Batsari led a team of Police personnel to the village in Batsari and successfully repelled bandits on heinous mission.
“The doggedness, uncommon courage and tactical operational strategy adopted by the Police officers made the bandits to flee into the forest with varying degree of bullets wounds.
“In the course of profiling the scene, 4 bandits were neutralized and 3 of their motorcycles were recovered,” he said.
SP Isah then urged members of the public to cooperate with security agencies working at the frontline areas by giving them credible information on bandits and their collaborators, especially those supplying them with arms and ammunition, informants and other essential commodities.

The Katsina State Police Command yesterday paraded four teenagers accused of attempted murder and rape.
Three out of the suspects, who are all within the age of 18, were arrested for the attempted murder of one Mohammed Abubakar in the state.
The trio, who admitted to committing the crime, were reported to have stabbed their victim with a sharp knife leaving him with a deep cut on one side of his chest.
The victim is said to be hospitalized at the Katsina State General Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
The spokesman of the state police command, Isah Gambo, who disclosed the sad incident to newsmen yesterday was quoted to have said:
