Crews battling large fire at factory in Buffalo s Riverside neighborhood

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Fire crews in Buffalo are battling a large two-alarm fire at a factory on Rano Street in the city s Riverside neighborhood.
The fire started around 7 p.m. Friday behind the Enterprise Folding Box Company on Isabelle Street.
It s unclear if anyone was in the factory at the time of the fire.
Buffalo police say you should avoid the area if you can.
7 Eyewitness News has reached out to Buffalo fire officials for information but we ve yet to hear back.

BUFFALO, N.Y. A warehouse in Buffalo s Riverside neighborhood was the scene of a two-alarm fire on Friday evening.
According to fire officials, the call came in just after 7 p.m. at 308 Crowley Avenue, which is a large, vacant, industrial complex.
Several neighbors and another building owner tell 2 On Your Side the building that caught fire Friday had been a trouble spot and that there was a fire in a portion of that building recently. Attempts to get the City of Buffalo to address the building had been made.
She applied to be part of the EPS, and then went through the provincial police college. Acting EPS Chief Warren Morrical said Ruthven likely had the strangest police college experience out of anyone he knows, thanks to the modified duration. “They truncated it a month prior to the normal schedule,” said Morrical. “They had a whole bunch of stuff they had to get done in a short period of time.” Students in the college had to approach it like a bubble, with classmates, several instructors and others coming together in a small unit. With less time at police college, there’s a greater onus on field training for Ruthven. Const. Michelle Beaulieu will be responsible for the field training.

Jennings police department is currently looking for two missing children.
The children are ages 13 and 8, and were last seen walking together on Isabelle Street in Jennings.
The little girl was wearing a long-sleeve, pink shirt. The little boy was wearing a black shirt.

The Jennings Police Department is currently looking for two missing children, ages 13 and 8.
According to authorities, the girl was last seen wearing a pink long sleeve shirt and the boy was wearing a black shirt. Both walking together on Isabelle Street in Jennings.
