At least another three people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and a fourth person was treated and released from the scene, WENY reported. San Diego police Officer John Buttle told the San Diego Tribune that gunfire erupted around 10:30 p.m. on Fifth Avenue and J Street, as well as “a few other locations” across the Gaslamp District.
