The Oregon Ducks (4-2) defeated the previously undefeated USC Trojans (5-1) in the 2020 PAC-12 Championship game.
The Duck defense held strong during USC’s final two drives to clinch their second consecutive PAC-12 Championship! Oregon scored 14 quick points by forcing two interceptions from USC quarterback Kedon Slovis and capitalizing off of them with touchdown passes from Anthony Brown Jr. and Tyler Shough to Jaylon Redd and Hunter Kampmoyer, respectively.
All three PAC-12 quarterbacks recorded impressive plays along with awkward mistakes. Shough finished 8-of-15 for just 91 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, Brown was 3-of-4 for 17 yards and two touchdowns, and Slovis threw three picks and two TDS on 28-of-52 passing for 320 yards.

What’s at stake: A conference championship and berth in a New Year’s Six game, likely the Fiesta Bowl. There’s more to it than even that, though. These two programs are atop the Pac-12 and recruit against each other for most every blue chip prospect. Plenty of players know each other. Coaches on each sideline have coached at both schools. Oregon is going for a second straight conference title and NY6 bowl game. USC is going for an undefeated season that could stand in a different sort of light historically depending on how the CFP shakes out.
LOS ANGELES The Oregon football team will look to become two-time defending Pac-12 Conference champs when the Ducks play at No. 13 Southern California on Friday.
The Ducks (3-2) are coming off a bye week because Washington was unable to play in Eugene last week due to COVID-19 protocols. The Huskies thus won the Pac-12 North based on winning percentage, but they also could not play this week and so Oregon was elevated into the conference title game matchup with the Trojans (5-0).
Friday s game will be televised by FOX, with Joe Davis on play by play and former UO coach Mark Helfrich providing analysis.

LOS ANGELES There’s a reason why USC is the top passing attack in the Pac-12.
Check that, there are four reasons why: quarterback Kedon Slovis and receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tyler Vaughns and Drake London.
Together they are without question the most talented grouping of passer and targets not only in the conference but arguably in the country as they lead the No. 13 Trojans into tonight’s Pac-12 Championship game against Oregon.

Despite coming into the game without a single win under their belt, the Bears were able to pull out the upset over the No. 23 Oregon Ducks, beating them for the first time in the Justin Wilcox era. Quarterback Chase Garbers did not have his flashiest game of the season, but, in typical Cal fashion, the defense muscled the load while the offense did just enough to win.
The highlight of Garbers’ game came on a perfectly executed 28-yard touchdown toss to junior receiver Nikko Remigio a play that ended up being spread nationally throughout social media thanks to the quarterback’s smooth behind-the-back ball fake. Despite the pass being thrown midway through the third quarter, the touchdown would end up winning the game for Cal, as the Bears’ defense masterfully held the Ducks scoreless in the second half.
