OCEAN CITY, MD- A water rescue in Ocean City Friday led to two people being pulled from the water around 19th street in Ocean City. Ocean City police and fire unites responded to a call around 8:40 pm of people in the water, according to Ocean City Fire Department Public Information Officer Ryan Whittington.
When Ocean Rescue swimmers and EMS arrived, the man had been pulled further inland by good samaritans Isaac Hoyman, Zeth Augustine, and Ryan Saylor. Hoyman tells 47ABC a 6-year-old ran up the beach yelling that his parents were drowning. That’s when he says they spotted two figures in the water and decided to attempt to rescue them.
