Nearly ten years after being hoisted into the sky by cranes as people watched on in awe, the 450-tonne skybridge at CityPlace is finally ready for occupancy, making it the official highest suspended residence in Canada at long last.
It s the largest of its kind too, at 40-metres long roughly the same size as a Boeing 737 commercial jet.

Developer Concord Adex has unveiled Bridge Suites an adjoining sky bridge 91 metres (300 feet) off the ground that connects the two 43-storey Parade towers located at the foot of Canoe Landing Park, near Fort York Blvd., west of Spadina Ave.

Bridge Suites has a unit for sale that would be a “lair fit for Mr. James Bond himself,” according to a company press release.
