CAÑON CITY Saying the past year “has been hell,” a Texas woman who buried her 1-year-old son last January spoke out about his tragic death, which happened when his father ran over the boy with a truck.
Isaac Bullard, 39, pleaded guilty in October to the vehicular homicide of his 1-year-old son and to illegal extraction of marijuana concentrate in connection with an illegal hash oil extraction lab found inside the home.
Bullard, who now resides in Aurora, was scheduled for sentencing Monday, but that hearing was delayed until Feb. 24 to allow for a community corrections screen.
Because she had traveled from Texas and was not notified of the delay prior to making the trip to Colorado, the mother of Jesse James Bullard was allowed to speak to the judge.
