Ticket sales for the performances, which open Thursday and conclude July 2, will benefit BlueCheck, which aids organizations providing humanitarian assistance to victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Following historic performances at Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center and the London Coliseum, The United Ukrainian Ballet will make its West Coast debut June 29 – July 2 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, performing Alexei Ratmansky's Giselle.
The company, based in The Hague, is currently in Washington, D.C., performing Giselle at The Kennedy Center. The Ukrainian Ambassador says the ballet corps is like a secret weapon.
