Bus service changes to improve reliability for Blackburn

Several changes are being made in a bid to improve the reliability of buses serving a number of popular routes in East Lancashire.

Blackburn Bus Company changes timetables to accommodate key workers

BLACKBURN Bus Company will be operating services it says are built around the needs of key workers from Sunday. With the new national lockdown meaning people are only travelling for essential purposes, Blackburn Bus Company will be operating on temporary timetables, with some routes running less often than normal. All routes will continue to run, with more than 80 per cent of usual journeys still available and first and last bus times remaining the same. Changes have been made to the 1, 4, 6 and 7, Valleyline, 24, Hotline and Red Express. The Irwell Line times will be changing from 17 January. The 1 Blackburn to Darwen then Bolton
