Irvine Lasses 45th birthday and Exhibition launch.. “The best laid plans of mice and men gang aft a glae” - and Irvine Lasses Burns Club’s usual Annual Dinner, was not going ahead in its normal format in 2021. President Rosemary Murdoch said, “Unfortunately due to the sad and continuing Public Health situation created by the pandemic, like so many other Burns Clubs at home and abroad, we embraced the challenge of holding a virtual event, to recognise the Life and Works of Robert Burns. This would have been our 46th Annual Dinner, and it was important to mark the occasion using modern technology”.
