Benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 1627.54 points down at 49411.77 while NSE Nifty index was trading 475.50 points down at 14621.85 on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy s, Nestle India, NTPC and Divi s Labs were among top gainers, while M&M, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank were trading in red.
