Man dies 3 days after mobile home fire in Irondale

IRONDALE   The Irondale Fire Department and the Irondale Police Department are investigating following a mobile home fire. Martin Moreno, 57, was found outside of the mobile home around 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020. The mobile home was located in the 1600 block of Trailer Lane, in Irondale. Moreno was transported to UAB Hospital where he died at 9:34 p.m. on Dec. 31, according to Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.

57-year-old man dies 3 days after mobile home fire in Irondale Updated Jan 01, 2021; The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Martin Moreno. He was 57. The fire happened about 11 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Trailer Lane in Irondale. Authorities said Moreno was found outside of a mobile home and taken to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:34 p.m. Thursday. The cause, origin and circumstances surrounding the fire are under investigation by the Irondale Fire Department and the Irondale Police Department.
