Irish Heritage Day Opening music and piping in at noon on bagpipes, followed by the Bluebonnet Scottish Country Dancers. Storytelling by Jane McDaniel. Listen to music played and sung by award winning St. James's Gate and the internationally known SA Sessions. Enjoy a performance by the Kelly Singers. Have a cup of tea and a homemade scone or slice of Irish bread. Visit with Celtic and Irish vendors. Meet with the Irish Society, the Gaelic Athletic club and a representative from the Irish Consulate. The Harp & Shamrock's Passport to Ireland activities will be available for the wee ones in the Children's Corner.

Irish Heritage Day 2023 - Sponsored by The Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio Irish Heritage Day (IHD), sponsored by The Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio, is a family event, now in its 29th year and is free and open to the public. There will be a free Irish High Tea and a program from noon to 5 pm which includes a Celtic piper, live folk music, storytelling, Irish dancing, info on Celtic and Irish culture and events. A raffle will conclude the day. The entertainment program, Irish High Tea, vendors, and info market are all indoors in the same large community center.
