Michigan’s closing in on prospects at some positions of need, and adding guys to the board at a lot of spots where they’re less sure of their top options. So let’s check in on recruiting before this post gets pushed down by another Hello or Goodbye. The 2022 recruiting board lives here.

Nate Johnson got a crystal ball from 24/7’s Sam Webb and a FutureCast from Rivals’s EJ Holland recently. Johnson ran a 10.49 100-meter-dash at a meet last weekend per his coach. For reference, Tyrone Wheatley put up a 10.46 at Michigan, Denard’s personal best was 10.44, and the mathematics of the Universal Standard Model of Quarterback Physics breaks down at around 10.42.
Michigan offered Pilot Point (TX) Pilot Point running back/linebacker Ish Harris just yesterday, and the Wolverines already made his top five, along with Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Miami. Harris is a 4-star, the #27 OLB, and #357 overall.
Harris ran for almost 1,800 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, but he's 6'3" and 195 lbs. and made 7 interceptions on defense. George Helow is recruiting him, so that likely means Michigan wants him for defense.

College Football is a 24/7 event. If the games aren t being played, recruiting as at an all-time high. For Texas new head coach Steve Sarkisian, his first real recruiting cycle begins in 2022.
That process could begin on the right foot by adding names that will better the program in years to come. Pilot Point s Ish Harris could be the next great runner to make a showing come 2021. I love the staff. The staff is great, Harris told Longhorns Country in an exclusive interview. Coach [Jeff] Choate is a great man, Sark is a great man, all of them are great people.

NFL agent David Mulugheta took to social media this week to express how he thinks Texas Longhorns donors who threatened players over their “Eyes of Texas” protest should be forced to forfeit their stadium suite seats come time for college football kickoff this year.

If they are so offended please release these sold out suites at the games so we, who are not offended, can scoop them up.
