ISLAMABAD (AP) Men dug through rubble with their bare hands and shovels Sunday in western Afghanistan in desperate attempts to pull victims from the wreckage left by powerful earthquakes that killed at least 2,000 people.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 has struck the province of Herat in Afghanistan. Taliban officials are making visits to the impacted area that has recorded at least 2,000 deaths.
