A seventh grader in Michigan is being praised as a hero for preventing his school bus from crashing after his bus driver lost consciousness, according to a school official.
A boy grabbed the steering wheel on a school bus and hit the brakes, bringing the vehicle to a safe stop on a busy Detroit-area road after the driver had passed out, authorities said.
Dillon Reeves, 13, was on his way home from from Carter Middle School in Warren, Massachusetts school, along with 66 other students when his bus driver passed out on Wednesday.
