Surely if the Liberal Party is being fair dinkum about cost-of-living pressures then Dutton and Taylor should be calling for the stage three tax cuts to be dropped. If they remain mute, they bear the responsibility for any cost of living and inflationary pressures that occur.
If breaking ranks means thinking responsibly and speaking independently on an issue of the utmost urgency and concern as presented by the disproportionate Israeli response to the ungodly Hamas attack on innocent citizens, then such rank breaking is surely a good thing.
Does the RBA Board realise that every interest rate hike negatively affects those with mortgages, business loans etc, but gives more to those with investments?
