Amador Valley High School s Kevin Kiyoi was named as one of the two Alameda County Teachers of the Year during the annual awards ceremony last week. The math and science teacher in Pleasanton told the Weekly that receiving the honor.
Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) and Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) have named their 2023-24 District Teachers of the Year.
The Livermore Management Association recently recognized Spanish teacher Irene Lucero of East Avenue Middle School as the Teacher of the Year and Livermore High paraprofessional Carmen Perea-Tellez as Classified Employee of the Year.
