Now in its ninth series, this year will see the competition be more challenging than ever before!
Now in its ninth year, RTÉ show Ireland s Fittest Family is currently looking for participants, with producers scouring the country to find the fittest, fastest and strongest families to be coached to victory by the show s four returning coaches, Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary, Derval O’Rourke and Donncha O’Callaghan.
Requirements: Each family must be comprised of four immediate members

The Doyle family of Ballinascreen were the talk of the county on Sunday night as they blitzed the opposition to qualify for the quarter-final of RTE s reality show Ireland s Fittest Family.
They recorded the fastest time lifting the sandbags on the first event, Sole Survivor, before winning the three-way race in Fast and Furious to avoid the eliminator and book their spot in the last eight.
It keeps their hopes alive of becoming Ireland s Fittest Family.

The Doyles of Ballinascreen are aiming to show the rest of Ireland what they are made of, when they hit the screens on Sunday night.
Michael Doyle, his daughter Aoife, sons Niall and Ciaran will be on RTE 1 (6.30) in Week 3 of Ireland s Fittest Family.
They follow in the footsteps of Drum s Farren family who took part in the 2015 series of the reality TV show.
Ciaran and Niall all play for both Ballinascreen - in football and hurling - and represented Derry in U20 football last season.

The Doyles of Ballinascreen are aiming to show the rest of Ireland what they are made of.
