Iran reportedly passed a law enabling the use of bitcoin as payment for imports and establishing a framework for the asset class, including mining regulations.
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The administration of Iran has passed an act introducing regulations on trade transactions with cryptocurrencies, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Fatemi Amin said.
The country's Ministry of Trade said the order is just the start and by the end of September, the use of digital assets and smart contracts will be ubiquitous.
