Cairo: At least 22 people were killed on Wednesday in a powerful explosion that hit Yemen s Aden airport upon the arrival of a new government from Saudi Arabia, medical sources said.
Fifty others were injured in the blast that occurred as members of the cabinet got off the plane, news portal Aden Al Ghad reported, quoting the sources. The members of the government were transferred for safety to the Al Maasheeq palace in Aden following the explosion, Saudi television Al Arabiya reported.
