It is mid day injerusalem. This time yesterday israel and countries in the region and far beyond watching and waiting to see what iran would do next. And now in the early hours of the morning, the world found out. Iran launched for the first time a direct attack against israel. This is an unprecedented moment and uncharted territory. Hundreds of drones and missiles were fired from iran into the skies above israel. Israel says it intercepted almost all of the projectiles. Backed by the us, uk, france and jordan. This morning israeli officials are saying the confrontation isnt over and are assessing their options. Irans military chief told state tv that as far as iran was concerned, a line had been drawn under the confrontation after its retaliatory strike.
