First, afghanistan, where there are real fears that Helmand Province could be in danger of falling under taliban control. Food and am mission supplies have been dropped by air into the city. This is under siege by a group of talibans fighters. More nato troops have rushed to the Southern Province to aid those afghan soldiers. Here is more.
