UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) -The United Nations Yemen mediator urged warring parties on Wednesday to "seize the opportunity" to take decisive steps toward peace and said momentum to end the conflict had been renewed by a deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran to resume ties. "Intense diplomatic efforts are ongoing at different levels to bring the conflict in Yemen to an end," U.N. special envoy Hans Grundberg told the Security Council. The conflict in Yemen has widely been seen as a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
