For the second time in eight years the Government Accountability office have done an independent inquiry and has proven that the absence of meaningful oversight of much of the tax preparer industry is harming to many citizens who can least afford it. End it could also be much worse. In some cases, taxpayers refunds were prepared in person and skip the one who shows who did the work. And the worst of all plus the taxpayer can prove what happened, they are on the hook for the money when the irs finds out. Witnesses said they can share some more eyeopening stories and we are eager to get their thoughts on what the government can do to come up with more sensible policies here in the most important step is to restore standards to protect the american taxpayer.
