A WOMAN barrister who cried rape in a plot to frame her lover after she discovered he was married has been given a life sentence.
Oxford lawyer Anisah Ahmed set up an ‘evil’ campaign of lies, falsely claiming she was raped as well as staging her own kidnapping and stabbing, a judge heard this morning. The twisted plot began in 2014 when qualified barrister Ahmed, of Wilkins Road, Cowley, found out her lover, fellow barrister Iqbal Mohammed, was married. Sitting at Oxford Crown Court, Judge Michael Gledhill QC said: It appears that Ahmed had no idea that Mohammed was married. “When she found out, she felt utterly betrayed and took her revenge by putting into effect a comprehensive and orchestrated plan to destroy him – both professionally and personally.

Mangaluru: Four including two women arrested in Surathkal honey trap case

Mangaluru, Jan 18: Two men and two women have been arrested by the Surathkal police in Mangaluru on charge of honey-trapping a man from Kasargod and placing a demand for Rs 5 lakh.
The arrested are Reshma alias Neema, Iqbal Mohammed alias Iqbal, Zeenath alias Zeenath Mubin and Nasif alias Adul Khader Najeep.
City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar revealed information about the case to media today.
The victim filed a complaint to the Surathkal police alleging that a gang had assaulted him and blackmailed him with a video they shot, where they made him remove his clothes. The gang threatened to upload this video on social media
