In a good news for Mumbaikars, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday after his meeting with the BMC announced that the city will get pothole-free roads in two years. Shinde's announcement came amid traffic jams and deaths reported due to potholes during the monsoon season.
In the first ten days of June, the city reported almost double the number of cases it had reported in entire May. The city also reported four deaths in the first 10 days of June against three deaths
Mumbai on Friday reported 1,956 new Covid cases, 15 per cent higher than yesterday (1,702), the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said. The positivity rate stood at 12.74 per cent.
