KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 As the 15th general election (GE15) looms on the horizon, Umno is optimistic about reclaiming its previous position of dominance, the party’s election chief said.
According to
Utusan Malaysia, Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman stressed this despite Umno’s current support of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 Umno election chief Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman has confirmed that the party will cut ties with the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition by August following a party supreme council meeting yesterday, reported
Utusan Malaysia today.
Speaking to the Malay daily, Tajuddin also stated that the meeting merely discussed the consensus to cut ties with PN that was reached during its annual general assembly last month.

IPOH, April 26 Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamed today said Umno does not feel excluded from the Perak Perikatan Nasional (PN) committee, which consists only of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, PAS and Gerakan members.
Saarani, who is also Perak Umno chief, said that the party will have its own committee under Barisan Nasional (BN).
“The issue of being left out does not arise at all because PAS and Bersatu are members of the PN coalition.

IPOH, April 21 Perak will enter the renewable energy sector through a collaboration between the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNP) and Gading Kencana Sdn Bhd to build a solar farm in Bidor.
